Water Development and Management Institute(WDMI) is an institution of Technical education which was established in 1974 and transformed to Government Executive agency in 22/08/2008 through an act of parliament and it is fully accredited by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) to offer technician Programmes leading to the qualifications of National Technical Awards Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) the institute under the support of various stockholders (GTZ being the leading one have the plan in place to offer Degree programmes (Bachelor of Engineering) NTA & qualifications by 2011 for the first batch.
WDMI ultimate goals is to transform the Institution to a World class centre of Excellence in engineering and applied sciences and Entrepreneurship skills, through skilled hard and innovative minds.
